Aysh Al Saraya With Caramel Sauce

Aysh Al Saraya is a two-layered dessert, a layer of toasts soaked in sugar syrup then topped with a layer of milk pudding and garnished with chopped pistachios and raisins. Try this new recipe of Aysh Al Saraya With Caramel Sauce!

Preparation Time: 40 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 30 minutes approximately
Serves: 6 persons

All you need

12 slices toast bread
1 kg Fresh Cream
5 cups sugar
5 cups boiling water
Caramel sauce
Ground pistachio to garnish
Al alali Strawberry Jam for garnish

Caramel sauce:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup fresh cream

Directions
  • Remove the hard edges of toast slices. Toast both sides in oven at 190° C (375°F) or until golden brown
  • In a non-stick saucepan, melt 5 cups sugar over low heat until golden color, immediately add hot water and stir well until the sugar mixture starts boiling. Set aside
  • In a pan, arrange the toasted toast slices, add pour the caramel sugar syrup over evenly, set aside for then few minutes to allow the toast absorb the syrup
  • Spread the fresh cream evenly over the toast, cover with another layer of caramelized toasts. Refrigerate for 2 hours
  • Cut a medium sized squares, garnish with pistachio and al alali Strawberry Jam
  • Serve with caramel sauce and enjoy!
