Spinach with Meat Stew |
Enjoy this tasty recipe on a cold winter night. With a dash of lime and segment of garlic in fresh spinach this recipe is definitely comforting.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 30 minutes approximately
Serves: 4 persons
All you need
450 g of veal or lamb cubed
1 kg fresh washed and roughly chopped spinach
2 tbsps. al alali Garlic Powder
1/2 cup fresh coriander chopped
1 cup diced onion
2 tbsps. of oil
2 tbsps. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsps. salt
1 tsps. al alali Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. al alali Ground Allspice
1/2 cup toasted pineseeds (optional)
6 cups water
Directions
- In a large pot, sauté onion and al alali Garlic Powder until lightly golden (1-2 minutes) on medium heat. Add meat, salt, and al alali Ground Allspice and cook until meat is cooked. Add spinach and water and cover for 10 minutes
- Add coriander and lemon juice and cook for another 10 minutes
- Set aside, garnish with toasted pineseeds and al alali Ground Black Pepper. Border the dish with lemon slices
- Serve hot with rice and enjoy!
