Spinach with Meat Stew
Spinach with Meat Stew

Enjoy this tasty recipe on a cold winter night. With a dash of lime and segment of garlic in fresh spinach this recipe is definitely comforting.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 30 minutes approximately
Serves: 4 persons

All you need

450 g of veal or lamb cubed
1 kg fresh washed and roughly chopped spinach
2 tbsps. al alali Garlic Powder
1/2 cup fresh coriander chopped
1 cup diced onion
2 tbsps. of oil
2 tbsps. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsps. salt
1 tsps. al alali Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. al alali Ground Allspice
1/2 cup toasted pineseeds (optional)
6 cups water

Directions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion and al alali Garlic Powder until lightly golden (1-2 minutes) on medium heat. Add meat, salt, and al alali Ground Allspice and cook until meat is cooked. Add spinach and water and cover for 10 minutes
  2. Add coriander and lemon juice and cook for another 10 minutes
  3. Set aside, garnish with toasted pineseeds and al alali Ground Black Pepper. Border the dish with lemon slices
  4. Serve hot with rice and enjoy!
