Vine Leaves with Sauce Recipe

Preparation Time: 40 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 50 minutes approximately
Serves: 4 persons

All you need

250g al alali Vine Leaves
3/4 cups extra virgin olive oil
2 large onions finely chopped
1/4 cup Egyptian rice
1/2 al alali Pasta No. 56
1 tbsp. al alali Parsley Flakes
6 spring onions finely chopped
1/4 fresh dill finely chopped
1 tbsp. al alali Ground White Pepper
2 cubes al alali Chicken stock
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 al alali Pasta Sauce Italian Original Recipe
1 tsp. al alali Ground Allspice

Directions
  1. In a deep pot, heat half quantity of oil and fry onions for 5 minutes, then add al alali Chicken Stock and al alali Ground White Pepper or Ground Allspice. Add rice, al alali Pasta and herbs, mix well, and then add half the quantity of al alali Pasta Sauce, mix well, set aside.
  2. Place 3 small spoons of rice mixture in the middle of the vine leave, roll, repeat the process until the vine leaves and rice mixture are finished
  3. Place 5 flat leaves in the bottom of a middle size pot, then place the stuffed vine leaves
  4. Place a plate over the stuffed leaves
  5. Cook on high heat until boil, reduce the heat and cook on very low heat for 45 minutes. Remove the plate and add lemon juice
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
