Kunafa Rolls with Nuts & Syrup

If you’re craving a classic Middle Eastern dessert that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, try these Kunafa rolls filled with crunchy nuts. Easy to make, visually stunning, and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients:

  • Ready-made kunafa sheets (corniche style)
  • Melted ghee or butter for brushing
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts), crushed
  • Cold syrup (sherbet) for soaking

Method:

  1. Rolling: Take a long strip of kunafa, place the end on the corniche sheet, and roll tightly along the length.

  2. Brushing: After rolling 2 strips, brush with melted butter or ghee and place on a heat-resistant tray.

  3. Baking: Bake in a preheated oven until golden and crispy.

  4. Soaking: Once out of the oven, pour cold syrup over the rolls so they absorb it well.

  5. Serving: Arrange on a serving plate and sprinkle crushed nuts on top for extra crunch and a touch of elegance.

Result: Crispy on the outside, nutty and rich on the inside, soaked in syrup for that perfect Middle Eastern sweetness!
