Quick Ghraybeh Cookies
Ingredients:
• 2 cups softened ghee (room temperature)
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• ½ cup peanuts or almonds for decoration
• 1 tsp vanilla
• A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1️⃣ Beat the ghee:
In a large bowl, whisk the ghee with an electric mixer for a few minutes until smooth and creamy.
2️⃣ Add the sugar:
Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until fully combined.
3️⃣ Add dry ingredients:
Gradually add the flour along with the vanilla and salt. Mix gently until you get a soft, crumbly dough.
4️⃣ Chill the dough:
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5️⃣ Shape the cookies:
Form small equal-sized balls from the dough.
6️⃣ Prepare the tray:
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the dough balls on it.
7️⃣ Decorate:
Press a peanut half or an almond on top of each ball.
8️⃣ Bake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 10 minutes.
9️⃣ Cool:
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool completely before moving or serving.
