Golden Fluffy Spinach Pies

 


Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside… and the aroma will fill your whole home!

Filling Ingredients:

  • Chopped spinach
  • Chopped onion
  • Salt + black pepper
  • A pinch of sumac (optional but adds amazing flavor)
  • A pinch of cumin
  • A squeeze of lemon

Method:

1️⃣ Sauté the onion until golden, then add the spinach and spices. Cook until all the moisture evaporates.
2️⃣ Roll out your dough, cut into circles, and fill with the spinach mixture.
3️⃣ Fold into a triangle and seal the edges well.
4️⃣ Brush the tops with an egg mixed with a little milk, then bake in a hot oven until beautifully golden.
